I’m a passionate, fun loving, optimist who loves to nurture and support those around me. This spirit of mateship comes from growing up in country Victoria which is all the reason for my keen sense of adventure. That said, I feel alive at a swanky city bar with a glass of bubbles and find comfort in the heart of our Australian red dirt and bushland!
I have been very happily married to Damien for 24 years and together we have two handsome sons, who are young adults in age, will always be my babies!
I’m a big dog lover and donate $50 of every full ceremony to Victoria’s Wiemaraner Rescue in memory of my beautiful Weimaraner, Wilma, who was the absolute apple of my eye.

Why Celebrancy?
After being a bridesmaid 6 times and attending countless weddings, my husband and I had seen our fair share of celebrants! Time and time again, Damien would say “Sherine, you’d make the best marriage celebrant” which I always brushed off… One, because I was suspicious it was the free grog talking, and two, I was a busy mum to two sporty boys who needed carting around every weekend. I definitely didn’t have the time, even though I knew I would love it!
So when the boys started driving themselves to sport and weekend mum duties gradually got less and less, I knew it was the perfect time to ditch the footy mum title for Sherine Burl, Marriage Celebrant!
